SeaWorld and Busch Gardens will begin offering annual passes with the likeness of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. this month. Earnhardt drives the No. 8 Budweiser-sponosred car in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. Budweiser's parent company, Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., also operates the theme parks. The collectible passes can be purchased in at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or online at SeaWorld.com or BuschGardens.com.
Discounts on Dale Earnhardt, Jr. merchandise sold in the parks will be offered to those purchasing Silver, Gold or Platinum passes. Other in-park discounts are also part of the deal.
This is the first time SeaWorld and Busch Gardens have offered an affinity card on a national basis featuring a celebrity.
"This is pretty cool, getting my own theme park pass to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens," said Earnhardt. "What a great opportunity for my fans to check out these attractions, and get another new collectible item."
Guests age 21 or older who purchase their Earnhardt passes before December 31, 2003 will be entered in a sweepstakes for a trip to the 2004 Budweiser Shootout in Daytona.
