Florida's "forgotten" coast is no longer forgotten. Delta Connection carrier Comair has initiated non-stop flights from two cities in Northwest Florida Pensacola and Tallahassee to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport effective January 31, 2005.
The flight from Pensacola via a Bombardier regional jet aircraft will depart twice daily at 7:00 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. Non-stop return service is available daily at 9:55 a.m. and 10:20 p.m. Delta is offering introductory fares as low as $79 each way, based on roundtrip service. Additional taxes and fees apply.
Flights from Tallahassee will depart daily at 6:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. with return service available daily leaving JFK at 12:15 and 7:45 p.m. Introductory fares are available as low as $109 each way, based on roundtrip service. Additional taxes and fees apply.
These new flights will give Delta's customers in Florida's Emerald Coast region more convenient access to the world’s financial center and the top U.S. business destination, while giving Delta's New York customers convenient, non-stop access to the white sand beaches and abundant local recreation of Florida’s panhandle.
