Harry Wayne Casey — KC for short, was raised in Miami where music was always a part of his life. KC wrote his first song by age 16 and by 17 he was working at a recording studio doing menial tasks. The 15-piece Sunshine Band was formed in 1973... and the rest is music history — by blending musical styles like funk and R&B, the band has proved its staying power with the ongoing popularity of their music.
