  • Hurricane and Tropical Storm Warnings for coastal regions have been discontinued.
  • Coastal and local flooding may still make travel perilous.
In unrelated news from Florida's East Coast, Playalinda Beach and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge closed at 6:00 p.m. Satuarday due to the planned launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery on its return to flight mission. If given a successful launch on July 13, the areas will reopen the following day.
