Hemingway Day's 25th Anniversary

Tuesday July 19, 2005
Hemingway House     Like birds flocking south for the winter, they come to Key West around this time every year. Who? The Ernest Hemingway look-alikes. Some come to pay homage and some come for an excuse to drink. Most come to compete in the Hemingway Days popular look-alike contest.

There is much more to the celebration which begins today (July 19) and runs through Sunday (July 24). Although Hemingway Days is celebrated once a year, tourists can see into the life of Ernest Hemingway any day of the year at Hemingway House & Museum (pictured here). >Learn more
