Florida International Festival

Wednesday July 20, 2005
Strike up the band... er, the orchestra! The Florida International Festival is well underway and the highlight of the annual event is the classical performances of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) this weekend. Last year marked the 100th birthday of the LSO and Daytona Beach is their final stop in a year-long celebratory tour. The 2005 Festival that runs through July 30, involves so many places and activities — from large auditoriums and outdoor venues to intimate clubs and after-hour social gatherings with performances by a myraid of distinguished performers playing many styles of music. So, if you've got sand in your shoes and a song in your heart, Daytona Beach is the best place to be this weekend! | 2005 Festival Schedule |
