Wednesday July 27, 2005
Lucky the DinosaurThey're baaack... and roaming all over Florida! Now you can see dinosaurs where you've never seen them before...
— The Return of the Dinosaurs exhibit can be seen now through September 30, 2005 at the Museum of Science and History in Jacksonville. The interactive exhibit includes a dino dig box, two rub stations and a hands-on control box to move the skeleton of the Apatosaurus. The 6,000 square foot exhibit features a Tyrannosaurus Rex and others.
— See what you can dig up in the Boneyard at Dinosaur World near Tampa where 150 dinosaurs roam in an outdoor museum setting.
— Encounter life-size dinosaurs in the Universe of Energy adventure pavilion at Epcot.
— See Lucky the Dinosuar (pictured here), Disney's first free-roaming Audio-Animatronics figure at Disney's Animal Kingdom for the next few months as part of Disney's 18-month-long Happiest Celebration on Earth. The nine-foot-tall Lucky can walk, sneeze, snort, laugh, bray and sign autographs!
— Stomping, roaring robotic dinosaurs and ice-age mammals invade Ft. Lauderdale and the Museum of Discovery and Science in Prehistoric Park: Return of the Dinosaurs, now through September 11, 2005. Add to your dinosaur experience by viewing the IMAX® film, T-rex: Back to the Cretaceous, which follows 16-year-old Ally Hayden on a remarkable prehistoric adventure as she is magically transported back 65 million years.
