Going to Grandma's House?

     'Tis the season for goin' to Grandma's house, and that may mean a road trip. We might sing "over the river and through the woods," but we are most likely to get to Grandma's house these days via a crowded interstate highway. AAA estimates that 37.29 million will travel at least 50 miles or more from home this holiday and 83 percent — 30.84 million — expect to be traveling by automobile. The greatest number of auto travelers will originate in the Southeast with 8.81 million.
     In a good news-bad news scenario, gasoline prices have been making a hasty retreat and are now averaging only $2.29 a gallon nationwide, but those prices are still up significantly from this time last year.
