Seasonal Carillon Music

Tuesday December 6, 2005
Bok Tower      If you're looking for a kinder, gentler holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the malls, there are two places in Florida to enjoy beautiful carillon concerts.
Enjoy the peaceful sanctuary of the Historic Bok Tower and Gardens while you listen to holiday favorites played on the carillon every half hour and during daily recitals at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. now through December 31.
Stephen Foster State Folk Culture Center is located just a short distance from the Florida-Georgia border and is appropriately located on the Suwannee River. The Center honors Foster whose Old Folks At Home memorialized the picturesque area. The Center in White Springs is home to the world's largest tubular bell instrument with three full sets of 32 bells installed within the Carillon Tower. During December the Carillon Tower will present daily concerts featuring holiday music at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
