The Cost of Disney World Just Went Up
Friday January 6, 2006
While we were all busy ringing in the New Year, Disney World quietly raised hotel rates and began ringing up higher admission prices. The entertainment giant raised their prices effective January 1, 2006. This follows an announcement late last year that Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando would be raising their prices effective the first of 2006.
The price of a one-day ticket to any of the Disney World theme parks is now $63.00 (up from $59.75) for adults and $52.00 (up from $48) for children ages 3-9. Hotel rates were hiked from just $2 to $6 for value resort rooms to a whopping $60 a night for some select deluxe resort accommodations.
