Florida: Most RV-Friendly State!

Wednesday April 5, 2006
Florida Beach RV Camping     Florida has been selected as the "Most RV-Friendly State to Visit" and the "Most RV-Friendly State to Fish" by the world's largest membership organization of recreational vehicle owners, the Good Sam Club! Visit Florida, the state's official source for travel planning, will receive the two Good Same Club members Welcome Mat awards at "The Rally" in Daytona Beach this Friday, April 7.
Three other Florida-based winners were selected by the nearly one-million families that were eligible to vote for the most RV-friendly businesses and organizations — Walt Disney World, the Daytona 500 Race and The Florida RV Supershow.
"The Good Sam awards are great recognition for Florida. Our state's tourism and camping industries consistently exceed visitors' expectations," said Bobby Cornwell, President and CEO of the Florida Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds, when he was interviewed by Visit Florida. "Florida's ideal weather and wide variety of wonderful natural and man-made attractions make it one of the nation's top camping destination. In Florida, campers are always welcome!"
