They travel light — without toothbrushes or clean underwear. Most don't shower, and many sleep on the floor. Of course, we're talking about the millions of pets that are joining their human companions on vacation this summer. There will be pictures... and AAA wants those pictures. AAA has announced an open call for photos of traveling pets as part of its Traveling with Your Pet: The AAA PetBook® Photo Contest. Top prize? A $350 AAA Visa Gift Card, "pet supermodel status" as a cover photo in the 11th edition of Traveling With Your Pet: The AAA PetBook® and five copies of the book. The second place winner will receive a $200 AAA Visa Gift Card, two complimentary copies of the book and their picture will appear on the book's spine.

Photos must feature at least one pet and have a travel theme. Log on to www.aaa.com/PetBook for contest rules. Entries can be submitted electronically by email or by postal mail and must be received by November 30, 2008.
