Florida State Park Series EndingFinally, as the saying goes... all good things must come to an end. The end of summer brings an end to my Florida State Park Series. I hope you agree it has been a good thing. Over the last few weeks, we've visited some of Florida's finest state parks and some pretty unusual ones too. We've photographed America's #1 beach, drove on what is possibly the World's Longest Fishing Pier, toured a southern mansion, an old fort and a tiny casita, listened to the music of a carillon tower, camped along the Suwanee River and watched manatees from an underwater observatory. There are still more state park adventures to be experienced, and we'll bring those to you from time to time, so check back here in Dawn's Florida Travel Blog. Or, sign up for my free weekly newsletter, About Florida to keep up-to-date on all the Florida Travel news and events.
