We love the Florida Strawberry Festival. We just bought tickets online - no shipping and no shopping - I’m finished with my stocking stuffers. The kids will be thrilled. My husband and I can’t wait either.

I cannot be there for strawberry festival, but I am wondering when does the strawberry season run. We will be there from Feb 14-20, 2009 and we are wondering if strawberries will be ripe.

My husband and I attended the strawberry festival for the first time on Wednesday night and seen Ray Stevens. His show was great.
I marvel with todays economy at the prices of gate fees, parking for “Handicapp” which I am we had to pay 10.00. We have tickets for Jeff Foxworthy as well. We are seniors on a fixed income. We paid 45.00 for a electric scooter for about 5hrs. 5.50 for a hotdog. The tickets for Jeff Foxworthy was 70.00. All said and done it was 250.00 for the two of us for one evening.
We ask 3 times for directions to Gate 1.
I think the Gate fee is to much in light of everything else being so expensive. I think it was unorganized for information in getting around locating the art and craft buildings which we did not know there was more than one. We handicapp people enjoy getting out but feel this lacked planning to accomodate us and there were a lot people like us there. You might want to consider this in your next year festival.
