The Best (and Worst) of Florida, 2008

In 2008, "staycations" became the newest travel trend for families having to deal with high gasoline prices and shrinking budgets. In fact, the economy probably had more to do with shaping our vacation habits this year than any other year in recent memory. Of course, Florida — one of America's most popular vacation destinations — still drew millions of visitors because the Sunshine State delivers the best weather, beaches, sunsets, resorts and attractions.
