Florida State Fair Tickets On Sale

Florida State Fair Midway RideAdvance tickets are on sale at all Sweetbay Supermarkets in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee, DeSoto and Highlands Counties for the Florida State Fair. The fair will be held in Tampa, February 5-16, 2009. I'm going... are you?

It pays to purchase tickets in advance — you save as much as 33%, plus there are a variety of advance ticket packages like the Family Fun Pack that save even more! Tickets are also available at the Fairgrounds Box Office or by mail order and fax with this form (must be received by January 26). Advance tickets are available through February 4, 2009 at Sweetbay Supermarkets and the Fairgrounds Box Office.

went to sweetbay and the tickets were 8.00 for adult and i thought they were to be 6.00 for seniors for the 12 thru 14 so i did not get the tickets

Last year the ride tickets costed $20.00 per sheet. The better and bigger rides 6 tickets with the average being 5 tickets per ride. Children rides average 3 tickets. I do believe that the cost per sheet gone up $2.00
In either case plan to spend some money….

The state fair website is not working on my pc. I cannot find a schedule of events anywhere. Does anyone know if there is a Shriner’s Day this year, or at least a schedule of events other than at the state fair website? Thank you!

ok look if all you people just slowed down a bit, you’d come to realize that it take an extreamly long time for the http://www.floridastatefair.com website to load and it looks like its not working at first but it does trust me! Just be patient.

If you read comment #14 above, she said the wrist bands ARE $30 each. We went to the fair yesterday,Had a good time there was mostly walkers (no one spending money) yes there are people spending but I thought $7.00 for a sandwich was a bit high we paid the $7.00 just the same.The cost to ride the rides was 5 coupons which equates to a dollar a coupon,we spent it as well the events areas were great we thought especially the schools around the state events hall.lots of very talented young adults,and children. go if you can and support your economy!!
