WANTED: Hounds On Holiday & Felines On Film

They travel light — without toothbrushes or clean underwear. Most don't shower, and many sleep on the floor. Of course, we're talking about the millions of pets that are joining their human companions on vacation this summer. They'll be pictures and AAA wants those pictures. AAA has again announced an open call for photos of traveling pets as part of its Traveling with Your Pet: The AAA PetBook® Photo Contest. Top prize? $300 and "pet supermodel status" with a feature on the back cover in next year's edition of The AAA PetBook®, a $150 Best Western Travel Card, pet treats and five copies of the book. The second place winner will appear on the book's spine and receive $150, pet treats and two copies of the book. Photos must feature at least one pet and have a travel theme.
