Get ready to reconnect with your inner child next fall when Florida's newest attraction, LEGOLAND® Florida, opens. The park's owners, Merlin Entertainments Group, recently revealed more of their plans for the former location of the historic Cypress Gardens. The family-friendly park will be located on 150-acres in Winter Haven, 45 minutes southwest of Orlando and ten lands featuring more than 50 interactive rides, shows and attractions will showcase the colorful plastic LEGO® blocks.
They also announced the sale of advance-purchase tickets and annual passes. In what I believe is a first-ever for a Florida attraction, they are offering lifetime admission through their Ambassador Pass. However, for those whose wallet isn't quite up to the $2,500, plus tax cost, Standard Annual Passes can be purchased by anyone in advance for just $99 — the price of a child's annual admission. >More ticket details.
