What does Florida's Green Lodging Program mean to you when you stay at a certified property? Some "green" practices may be easier to spot than others, but you may feel the difference when you shower.
While many of us have adopted an eco-friendly lifestyle at home, keeping those green habits while on vacation may not be so hard after all, especially at Florida's number one vacation destination — Disney World. Disney World has been a leader in environmental issues, including certifying all 24 of its resort hotels in Florida's Green Lodging Program. Disney's environmentally friendly world also includes more than 1,500 fuel-efficient vehicles, sustainable foods and real-life inspiration for conservation in the Animal Kingdom theme park. If you want to make your own contribution while on vacation, follow these easy-to-follow tips for staying green on the go in Disney World.
