Spending Thanksgiving In Florida?

Whether you'll be traveling to Grandma's house in Florida for Thanksgiving dinner or packing the family up for a fall vacation, I've compiled some ideas for things to do while spending the holiday in the Sunshine State. While our trees usually don't change color and there isn't much of a chill in the air, Thanksgiving weekend is full of activities at the attractions, and most of the state's communities kick off the holiday season with tree lightings, parades and the arrival of Santa Claus.

Don't wait a minute longer to make dining reservations if you're spending Thanksgiving at Disney World. It may or may not be too late to make Thanksgiving dining reservations at Disney World's resorts; even some theme park restaurants that serve Thanksgiving fare are well booked by this time.

Great Segway Tour and Rental company in Orlando. We rented a Segway from http://www.OrlandoGliders.com for the day to use in Universal Studios. They have a location on International Drive at 6438 next to Bargain World and Starbucks. They offer the Segway for Half Day and Full Day rentals. They also offer a cool tour to Ripley’s Beleive it or Not? for $60. You get to ride the Segway from thier location on I-Drive to Ripley’s, then spend an hour in Ripley’s.

Full Day $125
Half Day $75
