Whether you'll be traveling to Grandma's house in Florida for Thanksgiving dinner or packing the family up for a fall vacation, I've compiled some ideas for things to do while spending the holiday in the Sunshine State. While our trees usually don't change color and there isn't much of a chill in the air, Thanksgiving weekend is full of activities at the attractions, and most of the state's communities kick off the holiday season with tree lightings, parades and the arrival of Santa Claus.
Don't wait a minute longer to make dining reservations if you're spending Thanksgiving at Disney World. It may or may not be too late to make Thanksgiving dining reservations at Disney World's resorts; even some theme park restaurants that serve Thanksgiving fare are well booked by this time.
