The World Golf Village is a destination resort and residential community in St. Augustine that is home to the World Golf Hall of Fame. The Village offers a range of features and amenities the appeal specifically to golfers and those with an appreciation for the game's time-honored traditions.

Dining and Shopping

There are a variety of dining options around the World Golf Village, including a restaurant owned by actor-comedian Bill Murray and his five brothers — Murray Bros. Caddyshack. Other options include Augustinos Italian Steakhouse, the clubhouses at King & Bear and Slammer & quire; and, 500 South: An American Grill, located at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.

The PGA TOUR STOP is 30,000 square feet of specialty retail concept shops on two levels, a putting green and indoor hitting bays. In addition to others, the World Golf Hall of Fame gift shop offes that perfect souvenir or unique gift.

Golf Courses

The World Golf Village features two 18-hole championship golf course with special ties to the World Golf Hall of Fame:
  • The King & Bear, named respectively for it Hall of Fame member co-designers Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, opened in 2000. It's the first-and-only course design collaboration between these two golf legends.
  • The Slammer & Squire was designed by Bobby Weed with consultans Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen, both Hall of Fame members. It opened in 1998.
The courses have hosted 10 nationally televised tournaments.

Golf Instruction

A state-of-the-art learning center, The PGA TOUR Golf Academy, features all-weather hitting bays that sit in the shadow of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Top-rated instructors incorporate three teaching and video analysis systems into the lessons that range from private instruction, two- to five-day golf schools, as well as outing and clinics for groups of all sizes.

Residential

The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village offers distinctive neighborhoods ranging in price from the $140s to more than $1-million. Community amenities include first-rate schools, shopping, community parks and world-class entertainment. The award-winning community received the 2002 Florida Association of Realtors Environmental Award.
