| The former Dixie Landings
has been renamed, but has retained its southern charm. The guest
registration area was designed to resemble a steamship, so that when guests
check in, they are booking passage on the steamboat. The 2,048-room Mansion and Bayou guestrooms are of the same size. The Mansion rooms, well-appointed with cherry-wood furniture and tapestries, are located in sprawling, elegant manor homes with stately columns and grand staircases. The Alligator Bayou rooms are located in rustic, weathered-wood buildings that are set among native trees and bushes. |
