Guide Review - Foghorn Outdoors: Florida Beaches
"Florida Beaches" has become as much a necessity when packing for the beach as sunscreen. When I pack a copy, there is no more guessing where to park, where to find the best nearby shopping, where to eat dinner, or whether the beach is kid-friendly. I simply look up my beach destination in the index and have the information at my fingertips.
A nice aside are the little-known stories about the rich and famous like Burt Reynolds, and then there was the music that got stuck in my head from cute little lyrics set to familiar tunes. Their witty style refreshing and makes an interesting read for the armchair traveler.
I've found the information in this guide book extremely valuable. These guys have high standards when it comes to accommodations and service, and they don't mind telling it like it is – if something doesn't meet their standards, they tell you about it.
