Key West Lighthouse

This historic lighthouse is operated by the Key West Art & Historical Society. Located on Whitehead Street, the 110-foot Lighthouse Museum allows visitors to climb 88 steps for a breathtaking view of Key West. The lighthouse was built in 1847 and restored between 1989-1991. The facilities are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission is $8.00 and includes the restored keepers dwelling, museum and gift shop. It is 86 ft. to the top of this lighthouse and visitors climb 98 steps to get there.  History>
