I found this shell plate in a home store, the adorable little girl with the starfish in an import store and made the glass vase with the sand and shell trim after seeing one in another store. Amazingly, the blue sand and shells came in a package I found at a dollar store. So, as you can see your decorating with shells doesn't have to cost a lot.
