St. Peter's Episcopal Church Cemetery

This Spanish moss-laden cemetery is the meeting place for the Amelia Island Museum of History's Ghost Tours. The tour begins every Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the cemetery behind St. Peter's Episcopal Church, located at 801 Atlantic Avenue, and lasts approximately one-hour.

Skillful storytellers trace the steps of those that have gone before and convincingly relate the stories of some of the town's ghostly inhabitants. Whether you take the stories seriously, or just consider them entertaining, you are certain to enjoy the experience.

{Editors note: Sometimes when people take pictures in places known to be haunted, white spots called "orbs" appear. I've never put much stock in the phenomenon, but I have to say I have no explanation for the spots in this picture.)
