Amelia River Cruises

Amelia Island's scenic waterways are full of history, so any visit to the area is incomplete without a narrated cruise. Amelia River Cruises & Charters offers a variety of tours that depart from the Fernandina Harbor Marina in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach. The modern shrimping industry was born along this waterfront and shrimp boats still dock there today.

Daytime cruises include a two-hour Cumberland Island Tour that gives passengers a chance to get a glimpse of the Greyfield Inn. The structure is one of the magnificent mansions built by the Carnegie family at the turn of the 20th century. During other cruises you can take in the natural beauty of the Amelia River and not only learn about historic sites along the way, but also enjoy chance encounters with dolphins, sea turtles, manatees and a variety of birds.

Sunset cruises also follow the Amelia River, but offer spectacular sunset views and photo opportunities.
