The Atlanta Braves’ 2013 spring training schedule features a 17-game home schedule against Major League Baseball teams at Champion Stadium within Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It doesn't seem that long, but the Braves are celebrating more than a dozen seasons of spring training baseball at the 200-acre sports complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando.
The Atlanta Braves will host several opponents in 2013, highlighted by visits from the the New York Yankees, the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies. After two weeks of workouts, the Braves will play a 17-game home schedule that includes two straight games with the Washington Nationals and Detroit Tigers.
Game attendees can also expect additional Disney game-day fan experiences, including character appearances, an exclusive on-field spectator experience and the return of the fan-favorite allowing kids to run the bases after every game. Tickets for the Braves’ home spring training games, including group tickets and mini-packs, are now on sale at the Disney’s Wide World of Sports box office or by calling 407-939-GAME (423) or online at disneysports.com.
