Discover Aviation Museum:

At Fantasy of Flight, stroll hangers filled with the world's largest private aircraft collection covering the history of aviation including early flight, World War I, World War II and beyond. Multi-sensory sight and sound experiences bring the history to life.

Experience Attraction Action:

At Fantasy of Flight, the aviation experience can come to life with exciting adventure rides. Balloon and biplane rides are available for an additional charge. Take your choice of biplane experiences — fly aboard "Waldo," a 1942 Boeing Stearman PT-17 or take the controls in a hands-on experience in a 1942 Boeing Stearman PT-17. The amazing three-hour balloon experience will simply take your breath away. Reservations are suggested for all experiences.

Compass Rose Diner:

Styled after the diners that were associated with airports during the 1930s and early 1940s, the Compass Rose features art-deco touches like multi-hued terrazzo floors and the unusual rounded shapes popular in the pre-World War II years. The menu also gets an aviation spin with such fare as a Spitfire sandwich and Fantasy burgers.

The Compass Rose Diner is open daily to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. serving lunch.

Hours:

Fantasy of Flight is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The aviation-themed gift shop is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Admission:

General admission includes parking, Immersion Experience, FighterTown, Restoration Shop Tour, Back Lot Tour, Video Presentations and Aircraft of the Day.

Cost of general admission is $28.95 for adults (ages 16-59) and $14.95 for children (ages 6-15). Young children ages five and under are admitted free. Annual passes are available for adults ($69.95) and children ($39.95).

Group, military rates and corporate packages are available.

Biplane and balloon experiences are priced separately.

Directions:

Fantasy of Flight is located midway between Tampa and Orlando in Polk City, Florida.

From Orlando/East/North: Take I-4 west toward Tampa. Exit at SR 559, Exit #44. Turn right toward Polk City. At the flashing red light, turn left. Fantasy of flight will be less than 1/4 mile on your left.

From Tampa/West/South: Take I-4 east toward Orlando. Exit at SR 559, Exit #44. Turn left toward Polk City. At the flashing red light, turn left. Fantasy of flight will be less than 1/4 mile on your left.
