Historic Bok Sanctuary

This magnificent tower, designed by Milton B.Medary, was built to house the Carillon and is the centerpiece for the beautiful gardens. When designing the tower, Medary drew his inspiration from the Gothic towers and churches of Europe, but it was Edward Bok's love of nature that inspired the tower's decorative motifs. Its seven levels include the Carillonneur's studio, the Anton Brees Carillon Library, the bell chamber and the playing room. It is not accessible to visitors.
