The "Lunch With an Astronaut" menu features tasty dishes grilled chicken breast with a mushroom sauce, steamed vegetable medley, rice, mixed green salad with assorted dressings, and rolls. Assorted desserts, soft drinks and coffee are also available. All participating children receive a complimentary Space Shuttle sipper cup.

Following the meal, participants will view a lighthearted video presentation highlighting "everyday" life on the space shuttle. Of course, the highlight of the program is a personalized presentation by the featured astronaut, followed by a question and answer session and photo opportunity. As a memento of the occasion, each participant will also receive a souvenir autographed by the "space hero."
"Lunch With an Astronaut" is offered daily 12:30 p.m. (seating at 12:15). Tickets may be purchased online at www.kennedyspacecenter.com or by calling 321-449-4400. Tickets may also be purchased in the Visitor Complex on the day of the event, if not previously sold out.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is open from 9:00 a.m. until approximately dusk every day except December 25 and certain launch days. Lunch with an Astronaut is an add-on ticket option priced at $29.99 (plus tax) for adults and $15.99 (plus tax) for children ages 3-11. General admission to NASA Visitor Complex is required (starting at $52.95, plus tax) or purchase a combination ticket for $87.97 that includes admission to NASA's Visitor Complex and Lunch with an Astronaut.
