Sail away on a three-, four-, or seven-day cruise adventure to the Bahamas, the eastern Caribbean or Mexico’s Gulf resorts from the second busiest port in the world — Port Canaveral on Florida's East Coast.
Conveniently located just 55 miles from Central Florida's theme parks; the drive from Orlando International Airport is just an easy 45 minutes, with no traffic lights from the airport to the cruise port. That means there is no congestion arriving or departing for a cruise, with all interstate highways connecting directly to the cruise terminals. Short-term and long-term parking are well marked, gated and under 24-hour surveillance.
The port serves over four million cruise passengers annually with six terminals and four cruise lines — Carnival Cruise Lines, Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Things to Do Before or After Your Cruise
Port Canaveral has an array of recreational opportunities, including Jetty Park. Jetty Park is a popular spot for viewing space shuttle launches and watching cruise ships enter and leave the harbor. The park's 40 acres includes 126 campsites and a nearly five-acre beach. In fact, Jetty Park is the only beach in Brevard County with year-round, full-time lifeguards.
Port Canaveral is less than five miles and a ten minute drive from Florida's surfing capital, Cocoa Beach, where cruise passengers not only will find another great beach, but also a wide variety of things to do. A visit to the original Ron Jon Surf Shop is a must see!
