The Weddings On Water chapel features climate-controlled comfort for both guests and the wedding party. As the chapel cruises to its destination, the guests can enjoy panoramic views of magnificent Sarasota Bay out of tall windows topped with beautiful stained glass. The bride may finish her final preparation in the very private, on board bridal sanctuary, with its own bathroom and seating area.
Weddings aboard the Weddings On Water floating chapel are performed by a formally-attired Captain (or bring along your own officiant). The climate-controlled chapel is decorated with beautiful silk florals at each pew and at the podium. Also included in the wedding packages are recorded music, use of a silk bouquet & boutonnière by the bride and groom for the ceremony and a one-hour rehearsal the week prior to the wedding.
In addition, part of the wedding package includes a wedding coordinator to help with any necessary preparations. Weddings On Water teams with a host of local businesses to accommodate special arrangements for flowers, photography, entertainment and reception locations.

The Weddings On Water chapel sail Sarasota Bay and the Intracoastal Waterways to Anna Maria Island, but can be taken to many places accessible by water, including private docks and seawalls.The floating chapel can accommodate up to 100 guests, 125 total on board including the wedding party. Weddings On Water may be booked for one or two hours any day of the week. Wedding packages start at $995 and are priced according to day of the week, length of cruise and number of guests.
Weddings On Water also can be rented for vow renewal ceremonies, baptisms and memorial services.
Weddings On Water is moored at 4110 127th Street West, Cortez. From I-75 take Exit 217 westbound on Hwy. 70 (53rd Avenue East), right on Hwy. 41 North, left on Hwy. 684 (Cortez Road) West, right on 127th Street West to Seafood Shack.
