Planning 101: Beach Regulations II

  • Please do not fish where the health and safety of bathers could be affected. For specific information on fishing licenses, please contact a ranger.

  • Boats and catamarans can be launched in designated areas only for more details contact any beach patrol officer.

  • Please do not throw objects such as balls or frisbees across the traffic lane. All floats and inflatable rafts used in the ocean must be designed for water use and have ropes surrounding the float that can be easily grasped.

  • The beaches are closed to all water activity when lightning is in the area. Beachgoers are advised to seek closed, safe shelter in a place such as their car.

If you have any questions, just ask a beach patrol officer, they will be glad to answer any questions.
