Getting There: Disney's Hollywood Studios' Transportation Tips

Making the Most of Disney World's Transportation System

From

With thrilling rides like the Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, and the family appeal of Toy Story Mania, Disney's Hollywood Studios offers something for everyone. If you want to get them most out of your visit, be sure to arrive at the Studios early — or you could miss out on some of the best attractions. Thankfully, Disney offers many choices for resort guests visiting Hollywood Studios, so you can arrive on time and in style.

Tip: Can't get enough of the Studios? Consider staying at a nearby resort like Disney's Boardwalk Inn, Yacht and Beach Club, Swan, or Dolphin and arrive by boat or on foot.

By Bus: You can board a bus at any Disney Resort or theme park, and travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Be aware that your bus may make multiple stops, so allow plenty of time to arrive at your destination. The bus is free, and is available one hour before the park opens, and several hours after closing, so you can stay and play all day, and still take the bus to your resort.

By car: Follow the signs to the parking area, and park where directed. If you are not staying at a Disney resort, you will have to pay a fee for parking. Once you park, Disney's Hollywood Studios offers two options for traveling from your car to the entrance gate. You can take the tram, or you can walk. If you are parked on the far right-hand side, and the walkway is in sight, use the walkway to arrive at the entrance quickly.

If you can't see the walkway from your car, it is better to take the tram. It is a short ride, and you will exit right in front of the park entrance.

By Boat: Guests staying at nearby resorts, including the Yacht and Beach Club, can travel to the Studios by boat and ride to the park in comfort.
