Top 5 Pin Trading Spots at Disney World

Best Locations for Trading Disney Pins

From

Collectible Disney pins make great inexpensive souvenirs, but they can also give you a way to interact with other vacationers and cast members when you visit the Disney theme parks. If you have purchased a few collectible Disney pins and are ready to start trading, there are a few great places to swap with cast members or other guests.

Tip: Brush up on the basics of pin trading before your trip, or ask a cast member at any of the following locations for assistance getting started.

1. Disney's Pin Traders at Downtown Disney

This shop, located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace is a great place to buy or trade pins. Not only is Pin Trader's home to the largest selection of collectible pins in Disney World, it is the largest and busiest trading location as well. Whether you are a novice or a pro, Pin Traders is worth a visit.

2. Pin Central in Epcot

Pin Central is a convenient trading depot located just beyond Spaceship Earth in Future World. You can purchase or trade pins with cast members or guests at this location. Stop by on your way in or out of the park, or show up for a impromptu swapping session at one of the tables in front. Either way, you are sure to come away with a great new addition to your Disney pin collection.

3. Disney Resorts

Check at the main gift shop at your Disney resort for pin trading information. Many offer a binder or display that you can trade from, and all retail shops have cast members willing to trade. Pin presentation and location will vary by resort: look for a binder by the pin kiosk at the Wilderness Lodge; a picture frame full of pins at the Zawadi Marketplace at the Animal Kingdom Lodge; and, a portable bulletin board behind the counter at the Fantasia shop in the Contemporary Resort.

4. Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom

This pin trading site is tucked away near the Tree of Life in the Discovery Island section of the Animal Kingdom. While this location is not as large as some of the others on this list, it is a great spot to trade with other park guests when you visit the Animal Kingdom.

5. Mickey's Sorcerer Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios

You can't miss the pin trading location at Disney's Hollywood Studios — just head for the giant Sorcerer Mickey hat at the end of Hollywood Boulevard. Underneath the brim you'll find a shop full of pins — and a great location for trading as well.
