Epcot Future World Dining

By Dawn Henthorn, About.com

Although the restaurants are high in quality, guests to Epcot's Future World have a somewhat limited choice of restaurants. In fact, the selection of restaurants is woefully lacking for the number of attractions and the size of Future World, making what is there terribly crowded for those wanting to avoid the "worldly" cuisine within Epcot's World Showcase.

Restaurants and eateries are classified by meals served and amount you should expect to spend per person (in alphabetical order):

$ = Inexpensive (under $15)*
$$ = Moderate ($16 to $25)*
$$$ = Expensive ($26 to $45)*
$$$$ = Very Expensive (Over $45)*

Coral Reef Restaurant

Located in the Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion, guests dine "under the sea." Tiered seating and a wall of windows offers a fantastic view of the Living Sea to all diners. Although it might be unsettling to eat seafood in front of sea life, other choices are on the menu as well — including steak, pork chops, chicken and vegetarian selections. Reservations accepted and suggested. Lunch and Dinner $$ to $$$.

Electric Umbrella Restaurant

This counter-service restaurant in Innoventions East is perfect for a quick meal and to cool off on a hot day. The food is average American fare — hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches and strips and vegetable wraps. No reservations. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner $.

Garden Grill Restaurant

Located on the top level of The Land pavilion, the Garden Grill rotates, providing a changing view of The Land. During the buffet dinner, Chip n Dale, Mickey and Pluto mingle among the guests. Reservations accepted and suggested. Dinner $$$.

Seasons Food Court

Downstairs at The Land pavilion the food court was remodeled a couple of years ago, updating not only the decor and seating, but the menu as well. The healthier menu consists of:
  • Asian Wok Shop featuring noodle bowls and stir fry.
  • Sandwich Shop & Bakery with freshly-baked breads in made-to-order sandwiches — vegetable Cuban, turkey muffaletta and ham and salami.
  • Soup & Salad Shop with wonderfully flavorful fresh soups and salads.
  • Wood-Fired Grill Shop featuring rotisserie chicken and beef and grilled salmon.
No reservations. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner $.
