Epcot Park Information

A park guide to hours, parking & getting around Epcot.

Epcot opened October 1, 1982 after years of planning. The park is divided into two separate "worlds" — Future World and the World Showcase.

In World Showcase, nations display authentic wares and ethnic cuisines within landscaped and architecturally-unique pavilions. Ambassadors come from across the globe to represent their homelands, providing shows and entertainment that celebrate their cultures "back home."

Future World showcases future technologies and those available today, as well as journey into their imagination through an array of interactive experiences.

• Hours
  -Future World is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  -World Showcase hours are 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  -Extended hours are offered during certain holidays and the summer months.

• Parking
  -All-day parking at Epcot is $12.00 for daily visitors and free for Walt Disney Resort guests with proper resort ID.
  -Lots are named after Future World pavilions.
• Getting Around
  -Water taxis, called FriendShip launches, ferry guests across the World Showcase Lagoon. Docks are located near Mexico, Canada, Germany, and Morocco. Also, double-decker buses shuttle guests to and from Future World to the World Showcase.
  -Water taxis provide transportation from selected Disney resort hotels and Epcot.
  -Buses provide transportation to all on-property resort hotels.
• Kennel
  -While guests are busy taking an around-the-world tour, pets are taken well taken care of at Disney's kennels. One is located just outside the ticket area at Epcot. Fees range from $10 to $20 per day, per pet. Call 407-560-6229 for more information and reservations.
• Rental Rates
  -Stroller rental is $15/day single ($13.00 per day for length-of-stay rentals).
  -$31/day double ($27.00 per day for length-of-stay rentals).
  -Lockers are $5.00 per day (large lockers $7.00 per day), plus $5.00 refundable deposit.
  -Wheelchair rental is $10/day rental ($8.00 per day for length-of-stay rentals) plus $5 refundable deposit per day.
  -ECV (Motorized Scooters) rent for $45/day plus $20 refundable deposit per day.
• Dining
  Guests to Epcot's World Showcase can truly "dine around the world" and experience a wide variety of International cuisine in authentically themed restaurants, while in Future World guests will experience high quality (but somewhat limited selection) of restaurants. | Future World Dining Details | World Showcase Dining Details |
