It's legendary. It's horrific. It's one of the country's largest and most elaborate Halloween event. It's Halloween Horror Nights, and it's coming to Universal Orlando on 25 select nights from September 23 through October 31, 2011.
This year you'll wish you had Lady Luck on your side, but you won't be able to escape the enchanting seductress and the terror she has in store as she transforms into a bloodthirsty beast at Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 21. The more "chances" you take with her, the more she craves you — her eyes grow cold, her face contorts into something that is not human, her charming laugh turns to a rabid growl... have you made your last choice?
While Lady Luck is the force behind this year's event, guests will come face-to-face with a horrifying "thing," and experience eight haunted houses and six terrifying scarezones:
HAUNTED HOUSES
- Nevermore: The Madness of Poe - Step into the mind of the iconic madness of Edgar Allen Poe, where his greatest works come to life and every turn of the page takes you closer to the brink of insanity.
- The Forsaken - Of the four ships that began Columbus's fateful voyage, only three became legend. The mutinous and cursed crew of that fourth ship have returned from their watery grave with a vengeance.
- H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: Holidays of Horror - In his final televised broadcast, feature host H.R. Bloodengutz, presents a SCARE-athon of holiday-based horror.
- The Thing - Researchers in an isolated Antarctic outpost are infected... one by one, by a horrifying creature from another planet.
- Saws N' Steam: Into the Machine - Plunge deeper and deeper into a mechanical nightmare of spinning blades and crushing pistons.
- The In-Between - This realm — a third dimension — collides with our world and not all is what it seems.
- Winter's Night: The Haunting of Hawthorn Cemetery - The chill you feel may not be just the cold of night... the deceased souls have their sights set on you.
- Nightingales: Blood Prey - You are more than just at war... you are being hunted by Nightingales that feed on the weak and helpless.
SCAREZONES
- Acid Assault - Enter a degraded city feeling the effects of Acid Rain that still falls today.
- Canyon of Dark Souls - Creatures that dwell in the Canyon are not welcoming... walk slowly so you won't disturb them.
- Grown Evil - Enter into the Garden where Evil grows.
- NightMaze - Journey through this ever-changing, all-black maze and not be scared the same way twice.
- 7 - Seven temptresses show their true colors and take on their true Fatal Evil forms.
- Your Luck Has Run Out - Enter if you dare... your choices will determine if you make it out alive!
Also, enjoy two live shows. Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure skewer the biggest names in entertainment and pop culture; and, Death Drums presents a hard-hitting and extreme drumming experience.
