North Florida Celebrations

  • America Liberty Fest (Jacksonville Beach) - Music and fireworks highlight an afternoon and evening of celebration.

  • Beach Bash at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Enjoy a full buffet, live entertainment, games and fireworks from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reservations are required. Cost is $75 for adults and $35 for children. Call 904-277-1028 for reservations and more information.

  • Freedom, Fanfare & Fireworks (Downtown Jacksonville) - Bring the family and a picnic and watch the sun set over Metropolitan Park and fireworks light up the downtown sky at 9:45 p.m.

  • Independence Day Celebration (Fort Walton Beach) - Fort Walton Beach Landing will be alive with music, entertainment and children's activities. Fireworks display at 8:30 p.m.

  • Fourth of July Liberty Celebration (Jacksonville Beach) - Celebrate life, liberty and happiness with a beach blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic and watch a beautiful sunset before the fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

  • St. Augustine's Fourth of July Celebration - You'll have a blast at one of the East Coast's largest fireworks shows that burst above the ancient Castillo de San Marcos fort and reflect in the waters of Matanzas Bay.

  • World Golf Village Fireworks (St. Augustine) - Bring blankets or lawn chairs and find a place around the Walk of Champions to enjoy the fireworks show at 9:30 on July 3, 2008. There is a small admission charge for parking.
