South Florida Celebrations I

  • 4th of July at Bayfront Park (Miami) - Miami's largest family-friendly celebration is a day-long festival with family fun, food, fireworks and a kids corner. Free admission - 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

  • 4th On Flagler (Downtown West Palm Beach) celebrates in spectacular style with the region's biggest 4th of July celebration with tons of live entertainment and more (including fireworks)! Free admission. 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

  • July 4th Celebration (Downtown Delray Beach) - Family-friendly celebration featuring the annual Sand Sculpting Competition, a Patriotic Bicycle and Scooter Parade, plenty of children's activities, live entertainment on the beach, great food and a fireworks display. Free admission. 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

  • City of South Miami Fourth of July with live entertainment and fireworks display beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Park.

  • Upper Eastside's 10th Annual Fourth of July with Fireworks (Miami) - Sponsored by the American Legion Harvey Seeds Post 29 & Ladies Auxiliary and held at 6445 N.E. 7th Avenue at Biscayne Boulevard from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. Free kiddie rides and music. Barbecue dinner ($15) at Post 29s "Harvey's By the Bay" Restaurant at 7:00 p.m. Free parking.

  • Fourth of July Celebration (Miami Beach) - Enjoy a free concert featuring the Carlos Oliva Orchestra, Dancing Under the Stars and fireworks. 7:00 p.m.

  • Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade - Small-town red, white & blue celebration with homemade floats, marching bands and fireworks.

  • Old Fashioned July Fourth at the Barnacle (Miami) - Enjoy an old-fashioned picnic on the grounds of this historic, 19th-century pioneer homesite with fun events. Bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy the day's celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. $5.00, 12 & up; $2.00, ages 6-12; under 6, free.
