This very clean, well-kept and budget priced property is situated across the street from the historic Weeki Wachee Springs attraction. Although the attraction has an adjacent water park — Buccaneer Bay — the limited park hours leave plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful pool.

Although the area along Highway 19 that cuts through Florida's Nature Coast is growing by leaps and bounds and has become congested, there are still things for visitors to see and do. The historic Weeki Wachee Springs attraction, home of the mermaid show, is across the street from this property. Just down the road is Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park where you can still see the "real" Florida. And, in nearby Brooksville, you can stop in Rogers' Christmas House & Village where it is Christmas all year long.
It is often said that first impressions are important. This property impressed me from the time I parked my car and noticed the fresh coat of paint on the exterior to the attention to detail in the landscaping. It continued to impress me as I questioned the helpful and friendly staff and toured a guest room.
The guest rooms are small by today's standards, but still offer two beds with a nightstand in the middle and a small table for two. The dressing room only had one sink, but plenty of counter space and the bath area was outfitted with a tub.
This property is perfect for the budget-minded traveler who cares more for cleanliness and service than lots of space.
