Overview: A luxurious oceanfront resort set on 27 acres in the Florida Keys, Cheeca Lodge offers endless outdoor activities. The elegant resort features a long palm-lined beach, a signature fishing pier, full-service spa and more.
Accommodations & Amenities: Cheeca Lodge offers upscale standard accommodations, suites and beachfront bungalows. Luxurious amenities include plasma televisions, rain showers, soaking tubs and fine linens.
Restaurants: Dine casually at the Ocean Terrace Grill or enjoy fine dining at Atlantic's Edge. The Curt Gowdy Lounge and the beach bar are just the spot to sit back and enjoy the view and a cocktail.
Recreation: The Cheeca's palm tree-lined private beach is one of the nicest in the Florida Keys. Sports enthusiasts will find a nine-hole golf course, six tennis courts and plenty of water activities — fishing off the pier, diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and more.
Children's Programs: Children ages 5 and up will enjoy the fun at Camp Cheeca. Daily activities include fishing off Cheeca's pier, arts and crafts, lagoon swimming and snorkeling, scavenger hunts, hermit crab races, sand sculptures and beach exploration.
The camp is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m and pre-registration is required. There is an additional charge for the fun — $40 per child, per day, but that includes lunch.
"Kids' Night Out" is also available with activities and age-appropriate movies. It is available Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The $40 charge includes pizza.
