The famed "river of grass" is recreated within Gaylord Palms' 4.5-acre atrium with lush natural landscaping, water features and rustic weathered-wood buildings. The centerpiece is the sprawling Old Hickory Steakhouse that provides fine dining in a casual-but-elegant setting. Stroll the multi-level boardwalk that spans this area and you'll find many surprises... even snakes! Don't worry... the snakes are housed behind glass in a tiny wood cabin on the lower level.
