Keeping the region's history alive since 1942, the Historical Society of Central Florida has gathered 12,000 years of the area's rich history in a variety of fascinating and entertaining interactive exhibits, artifacts, archives, collections and special shows.

The Orange County Regional History Center opened its doors September 2000 in the historic Orange County Courthouse that was built in 1927.

The History Center is an invaluable resource for the community as it not only documents area history, but brings history to life with an active schedule of interesting exhibits that make each visit to the Center a new experience.
