Swaying palms and gently breaking waves set the scene for romance at the historic Thistle Lodge. The Lodge is open for lunch and dinner daily with guests enjoying service indoors or al fresco. Recreation:

Casa Ybel likes to say that relaxation and recreation are one in the same. Topping this list is the 14 miles of world-famous beach that can be enjoyed from the comfort of individually-placed beach equipment, including chaise lounges, umbrellas and cabanas. The 23 miles of paved bike paths can be enjoyed by renting bikes, kiddy carts, tandem bikes and more. What a great way to see the island!

Southwest Florida is known as a golfing paradise and many courses are within driving distance of Casa Ybel Resort. Swimming, tennis and volleyball is also available.

Children's Programs:

The Casa Kids Club is a great time for ages 4 to 11. The three-hour daily program consists of indoor and outdoor games and various craft projects. Swimming and other activities are sometimes available, depending on the ages and abilities of the children in attendance on any given day.

A kiddy pool and olympic-size swimming pool for older kids provide the right amount of splash appeal. Other sport activities include basketball, tennis, volleyball, bounce ball, bicycles and horseshoes.

The Recreation Department also offers activities throughout the afternoon for children of all ages.
