Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their favorite prince, princess or pirate attire and set out to explore some of the most popular Magic Kingdom attractions open throughout the evening.
Nighttime Entertainment Spectaculars
You won't want to miss these magical nighttime entertainment spectaculars:Disney's Enchanted Adventures Parade features a new 39-foot-long pirate ship overflowing with swashbuckling adventures, plus a treasure-filled float with Captain Jack Sparrow himself. The colorful procession makes its way down Main Street, U.S.A. with members of a flag corps each twirling the Jolly Roger, plus royal knights on horseback, court dancers and a regal processional of Disney princesses and princes.
Later, one of the most spectacular fireworks displays that Disney has orchestrated in some time Magic, Music and Mayhem fills the sky above Cinderella's Castle.
Party Highlights

- In Adventureland, Captain Jack Sparrow leads a pirate tutorial, offering young buccaneers sword fighting tips; plus a chance to join Princess Jasmin's Royal Guard Recruitment and share laughs with the hilarious Genie.
- Flounder and the crazy crab Sebastian kick it up with an "Under the Sea" dance party in Fantasyland, plus meet-and-greets with Ariel.
- A visit to Mickey's Toontown Fair will find court musicians and strolling jugglers hail princesses Cinderella, Belle and Aurora in a princess pavilion. Also, Pirates Mickey and Donald invite guests to step right up and try their luck at games in a themed play area.
- In Liberty Square, singing sensations the Riverboat Roulettes lure guests to a haunted river boat where the ghost of Jolly Roger spins tales.
- Boogie down at Stitch's Cosmic Dance Party in Tomorrowland where young guests meet a space pirate and enjoy break-dancing pirates and other entertainment.
If you go... what to expect
If you purchase special tickets to Disney's Pirate & Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom, expect to receive an adventure map marking the locations of treasure and entertainment and a cloth treasure pouch to hold your treasures chocolate doubloons and beads.You should also expect lighter crowds than during regular park hours with little or no waiting at some of the most popular Magic Kingdom attractions and meet-and-greets throughout the evening.
While guests are invited to dress up as a wily pirate or their favorite Disney princess, it is not required. However, we saw many (including a few adults) dressed appropriately for the party. Expect plenty of pirate and princess merchandise from swords to magic wands and eye patches to princess attire to tempt the young ones.
Special Ticket Information
The Pirate & Princess Party debuted in January and is a special-ticketed, after-hours event held at the Magic Kingdom on select nights during "The Year of a Million Dreams" celebration. The event is back by popular demand in April, May & June 2008! The dates are April 11, 16, 23, May 2, 9, 16, 21, 26, 31 and June 4 from 7:00 p.m. until midnight.Advance tickets for all nights are $43.95, plus tax (ages 10 and over) and $37.95, plus tax (ages 3-9).
