Known as the world's longest over-water recreational trail, The Friendship TrailBridge is actually the "old" Gandy Bridge that spans the 2.6 miles from Tampa to St. Petersburg. It used to carry traffic between the two cities, but now it provides miles of waterfront recreational opportunities — walking, jogging, bicycling, rollerblading and fishing. It is open to the public and free of charge.
