Filmmaking Camp - Ages 14-17

The New York Film Academy Filmmaking Camp begins its eighth year at Disney/MGM Studios in June and July, 2009. Students write, direct, shoot and edit his or her own short films, or acts in the filmmaking student films.

The location at Disney/MGM Studios offers professional movie sets and realistic international environments allowing students a variety of "locales" to set their films.

During three weeks beginning June 28 through July 18, 2009. Classes will be offered in filmmaking, acting and digital filmmaking. Tuition is $3,000. One week Digital Filmmaking Camp will be held June 28-July 4, July 5-11 and July 12-18, 2009. This cost is $1500. One week acting camps are also held during the above dates. Students may take one week Movie Camp, one week Acting and one week Music Video in three consecutive weeks.

One week Digital Movie Camps are also held at Universal Studios Orlando. Check for available dates.
