If you love the Disney princesses, there are some great places to spot Ariel, Jasmine, Belle and friends in person at Disney World. If you are traveling with a princess fan, make sure you add these top picks to your "to do" list the next time you take a Disney vacation.
1. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Let the fairy godmothers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique turn your little girl into a Disney princess. The makeover process takes about an hour, and includes a full makeover package, including dress, shoes and accessories. There are Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations in the Magic Kingdom and at Downtown Disney.
Hint: Want a magical makeover for your little princess without the big price tag? Bring a dress from home and book an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for the $49.95 "Coach" package, which includes hair, nails and makeup. You will save over a hundred dollars on the makeover, but the experience will be just as magical.
2. Princess Character Dining
Get some one-on-one time with your favorite Disney princess and enjoy a great meal at the same time when you book a character meal. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at a variety of locations in Disney World. During your meal, a selection of Disney characters will stop by your table to visit, sign autographs and pose for photos in a relaxed indoor setting. Favorite locations include Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom, Norway's Akershus in Epcot and the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Faire.
Tip: Character dining locations book up quickly, so call ahead for a reservation. You can book your princess breakfast, lunch or dinner up to 60 days in advance.
3. Princess Themed Rides
Look for rides featuring your favorite Disney princess when you visit the theme parks. The Magic Kingdom offers some of the best "princess" themed attractions in Disney World, including a carrousel featuring the Cinderella characters, Snow White's Scary Adventure and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
Tip: Beginning in 2010, Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom will be getting a princess makeover of its own, so keep an eye out for new princess rides and attractions.
4. Princess Themed Shows
Enjoy live performances and the wonder of Disney's latest animation innovations — and get a glimpse of your favorite princesses at Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom. Disney's Hollywood Studios offers two princess based shows, one featuring Ariel and another featuring Belle. Live performers sing, dance and act out your favorite princess tales. Don't miss Mickey's Philharmagic, a 3-d Fantasyland adventure featuring Belle, Ariel and Jasmine.
5. Princess Character Greetings
All four Disney theme parks offer you the opportunity to meet your favorite princess in person. Check theme park maps and schedules for meeting times, and pack an autograph book or other item for each princess to sign.
Tip: Look for princesses in their home countries in Epcot, and at Toon Town in the Magic Kingdom.
